Martyna Chrzczon (Weekend Hog Centre Manager)

About Me

I have a degree in Wildlife Conservation and will soon have a Masters Degree in Conservation and UAV Technology, both completed at Liverpool John Moores University. I have gained animal management experience whilst working as Practical Instructor/ Animal Keeper in a small zoological collection where I worked  for two years. I also have experience as a stock woman/ practical instructor of a city farm where I worked for a year prior to moving to Liverpool. Additionally, I have worked and volunteered in the veterinary environment.  I am extremely passionate about conservation and animal welfare and I’m a proud owner of a cat, hamster and a tenrec (other wise known to my friends as a fake hedgehog 🦔).

I started working for Wirral Animal Sanctuary in May 2018 in the position of Weekend Hog Centre Manager and so far I really enjoy it. I can't wait to learn more and be part of this amazing cause.
